DELHI, India—A sadhu (ascetic) lies in a pool of blood, 1966. During anti-cow-slaughter protests, eight people were killed and more than 500 injured by police. Before drowned in red hot blood, Back then, this Sadhu was defending the cool that descended in plenty:-
The Fragrance of mango flowers,
mingled with the mundane
on this hard surface , muddy.
Unseen amidst the untidy,
Here the touch was deeply personal,
and the sky was pleasant and steady.
